Rejection and Encouragement

If you're a writer, you know rejection. It happens constantly and we need to find a way to handle it. Ideally, we find healthy methods to combat that sinking feeling when a rejection email rolls in. One of the ways I address it is to send out more queries and stories. Two rejections today? I'll send out six more queries. Better than crying (or drinking). It's a pro-active step that keeps me hopeful.
