Our mission is to record, preserve, interpret, and display the history of Kingston, Washington
Directed Field Work
Sponsored by Kitsap Regional Library

My name is Tavi Black and I am an MLIS (Master of Library and Information Science) candidate at the University of Washington iSchool. In my directed field work I will be doing research for the Kingston Historical Society on various projects, ranging from Persons of the Year throughout history (most of which is on Microfilm), to discovering the names and histories of rum runners at the national archives. The fieldwork is sponsored by the Kitsap Regional Library.

Each week, I will write about my progress with the research I'm doing for the Kingston Historical Society.

Here you will find photographs and links to artifacts that I have discovered and recorded through my research.
